OLYMPUS CHEROKEE CHIEF

Exceptionally beautiful 15.2hh grey stallion, who is a graded British Sports Pony. He has 50% Trakehner blood and 25 % arab. A successful event horse himself, his sire FLEETWATER OLYMPUS was bred by the famous Fleetwater stud, and was a half brother of the great FLEETWATER OPPOSITION, who bred a dynasty of International and Olympic event horses.

Cherokee Chief's dam was herself a top Anglo Arab show mare, and was Norwegian National Champion. She was by the legendary SCINDIAN MAGIC who was a prolific sire of show and competition horses including Olympic eventers. Her TB dam is by a son of COURT MARTIAL who is out of a BLUE PETER mare.

Cherokee Chief had a successful eventing career, he won the Pembrey Horse trials twice. He also won £109 Show Jumping and competed successfully in dressage up to Medium level.

He has bred top event ponies, dressage horses and jumping ponies. His progeny include - FLIMSTONE FANTASY is a top FEI Event pony, the licensed stallion OLYMPUS HALE BOP, who is a top show horse, and successful dressage horse and the top jumping pony TINKER'S TOMAHAWK was sold for a five figure sum.

Cherokee Chief has an exceptionaly kind, trainable character, which he passes on to his progeny.
