Udo is by the Dutch Grand Prix stallion El Caro who was Champion Dutch 4 year old dressage stallion, he is by the renowned sire of dressage horses Zeolit and his dam is by the famous TB stallion Lucky Boy xx, who has sired a dynasty of show jumpers.

Elcaro's son MAKSYMILIAN represented the USA at the 2008 dressage World Cup finals where he placed 12th and was tipped as a future superstar! Elcaro is also the sire of the Grand Prix horse PEGASUS MK.

Udo's dam is by the successfull dressage sire Casanova who is also by the great Lucky Boy xx, and his grand dam is by the most famous coloured warmblod stallion in the World, Samber, who was not only a Grand Prix dressage horse, but also an International level show jumper, and founder of a dynasty of successfull competition horses and stallions, his is still the most sought after coloured warmblood in dressage horses today.

Udo's bloodlines include some of the most successfull jumping lines in the World via Ramiro Z and Lucky Boy xx.

Udo sired his first small crop of foals in 2005 and they were exceptional, in type, beauty and movement, selling for up to £8,000. In 2006 he had in foal to him a 3/4 sister to Rubinstein, and daughters of De Niro, Donnersohn and Pascal, as well as many others. In 2007 the stud covered seven of their own mares with him, amongst his foals in 2008 were a beautiful coloured filly out of our lovely Rubin Royal mare and a stunning homozygous colt out of our Davignon mare.

In 2011 Udo's progeny have been shown in hand and under saddle, and have proved to be even more amazing than we could have hoped. His daughter Comin' Atcha qualified for the Pre-vac-pro young horse championships at the BD National Dressage Championships. His son Unsolved is almost unbeatable in Sport horse classes at County level, having won and been champion four times.

Udo is a magnificent looking stallion, with tremendous shoulder and powerfull hindquarters, he has nearly 50% Thoroughbred blood from back in his pedigree, and this is evident in his type and quality. He has fabulous elevated paces and moves like an athlete, he also has phenomenal jumping ability and with fantastic technique. He has three fantastic paces, and passes them and his wonderful trainable temperament on to his progeny.

Udo has been sold to Germany, we have four wonderful young coloured broodmares by him.

Fabulous Four year old mare by Udo, here she is at her third affiliated competition, the Petplan Area Festival, where she placed with her young rider Kerri Wright.

This beautiful black colt was bred by the Chairman of the British Hanoverian Society, Ted Green, he is out of a Ramires mare, so is line bred to the great SJ and sire Ramiro Z.

Undaunted

2008 gelding by Udo, out of Pocahontas by Pascal, the prettiest foal, and amazing mover, he is now sold to the Thurman-Bakers, so we look forward to news of him in the future.

He is a full brother of our two coloured broodmares, Utopia and Unbelievable.
